• Ossipee Lake House is just off NH Route 16, the main north-south highway through central New Hampshire and the gateway to the White Mountains.

• The closest airport is Portland International Jetport, an easy 70 minute drive along scenic roads for about 50 miles through lightly populated areas along Route 25.

• Another airport to consider is Manchester-Boston Regional airport, about 1 hr 40 minutes away driving along about 80 miles of rural New Hampshire roads.

• The largest airport serving the area is Boston's Logan International Airport. It takes about two hours to drive 120 miles from Logan airport to Ossipee Lake House.




Portland is very convenient, but the airfares tend to be more expensive than either Manchester or Boston. When we travel from Colorado we typically fly into Boston.

It is easy to get non-stop flights into Boston and the two hour drive is straight forward, with much of it being on highways with four or more lanes with the last 30 minutes being along scenic Route 16, the major highway into the White Mountains and to Mount Washington, which is past Ossipee Lake House.
